Fortunately, the transformation back to human breaks Marlene’s spell. Reunited with his friend Buck, they prepare to make off with the Darkhold, which Jack hopes will provide some clues to his lycanthropy. He also touches bases with his sister, Lissa, but something seems off… Using Lissa as a pawn, Marlene has tracked Jack and Buck. (Nothing says the 1970s like Jack’s sideburns) I had to go back to see whether Marlene knows that Jack is a werewolf (she does) because it seems like a bad idea to have him lying around unrestrained as night falls. Sure enough. The werewolf, who usually seeks the forest, is compelled to return for round two.
